Eligibility Criteria of RRB Technician Recruitment
Age Limit: Category-wise age limit is as under.
For Technician Grade-I Signal, applicants must be between 18 to 36 years old as of July 1, 2024.
For Technician Grade-III, candidates must be between 18 to 33 years old as of July 1, 2024.
Age Relaxation: Regarding age relaxation, here are the details for reserved categories:

Educational Qualification:
For the position of Technician Grade-I Signal, there are three options for educational qualification:
1) A candidate must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics, Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Instrumentation from a recognized University/Institute.
OR
2) A candidate must have a B.Sc. degree in a combination of any sub-stream of the basic streams of Physics, Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Instrumentation from a recognized University/Institute.
OR
3) A candidate must have a three-year Diploma in Engineering in the above-mentioned basic streams or in a combination of any of the above basic streams.
For the position of Technician Grade-III, the educational qualification required is:
A candidate must have completed Matriculation/SSLC and possess an ITI certificate from recognized institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trade/s mentioned in the official notification.
OR
A candidate must have completed Matriculation/SSLC and have successfully completed a Course Apprenticeship in the trades mentioned above.
