Educational Qualification:

Age Limit:
Candidates applying for Graduate Teacher positions should be between 18 and 40 years old as of January 1, 2023.
Educational Qualification:
For Graduate Teacher (Arts & Science):
Candidates must hold a degree in Arts/Commerce or Post Graduation in Arts/Commerce with at least 50% marks. A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from an institution recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education is also required.
For Graduate Teacher (Hindi):
Pravin/Ratna in Hindi with 50% marks and a degree qualification with 50% marks or a postgraduate degree in Arts with 50% marks. Additionally, a B.T/B.Ed. degree from any recognized University is mandatory.
For Graduate Teacher (Sanskrit):
Shastri with 50% marks and a degree qualification with 50% marks or a postgraduate degree in Arts with 50% marks in Sanskrit. A B.T/B.Ed. degree from any recognized University is also required.
Other Eligibility Criteria for BTC Kokrajhar Recruitment

Medium of Instruction:
(i) For Assamese Medium School, the applicant needs to have passed HSLC or equivalent Examination with Assamese Language as one of the subjects, or hold a Diploma in Assamese Language issued by the Axom Sahitya Sabha, or have studied up to HSLC level in an Assamese medium School.
(ii) If applying from a Bengali Medium School, the candidate must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination with Bengali language as one of the subjects, or possess a Diploma in Bengali language issued by the Barak Upatyaka Bangya Sahitya O Sanskriti Sammelan, or have studied up to HSLC level in a Bengali medium School.
(iii) Candidates from Hindi medium Schools must have passed HSLC or equivalent Examination with Hindi language as one of the subjects, or have studied up to HSLC level in a Hindi medium School.
(iv) Those from Bodo Medium Schools must have passed HSLC or equivalent Examination with Bodo language as one of the subjects, or have studied up to HSLC level in a Bodo Medium School.
(v) Applicants from English Medium Schools must have passed HSLC or equivalent Examination with Alternative English as one of the subjects, or have studied from Class XI onwards in an English Medium School.
For Off-campus Degrees: According to the Assam Secondary Education (Provincialised Schools) (Amendment) Service Rules, 2021, degrees/certificates from institutions outside Assam with study centers in the state, not recognized by DEC under UGC, will not be valid for employment under the Education Department. However, degrees/diplomas from KKHSOU, IGNOU, IDOL under Gauhati University, and Distance Education under Dibrugarh University will be considered valid for employment purposes.
