Position Details
The positions available are for the role of Junior Administrative Assistant cum Program Assistant with a total of 4 openings. Successful candidates will be entitled to a monthly remuneration of Rs. 18,000.
Eligibility Criteria of SEBA Recruitment
To be eligible for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Educational Qualification
Candidates are required to be graduates in Science, Arts, or Commerce streams with a minimum of 55% marks in 10th, 12th, and graduation. Additionally, candidates with an MCA (Master of Computer Applications) degree can earn extra points, up to 10 points, based on their MCA degree marks. Similarly, those with a BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications) degree can accrue up to 5 points based on their BCA degree marks.
Experience: Candidates with experience in computer application systems in both government and private sectors will receive additional points, ranging from 1 to 5 points, depending on the number of years of experience.
Age Limit: Applicants must fall within the age range of 21 to 43 years as of January 1, 2024.
Application Fee: An application fee of Rs. 250 is required, payable in favor of the Secretary, Board of Secondary Education, Assam. This can be submitted either through a Demand Draft from any National Bank payable at Guwahati or through a challan from the Assam Co-operative Apex Bank Ltd., Bamunimaidam Branch, Guwahati (Challan available in the SEBA office) payable at Assam Co-operative Apex Bank, SEBA complex.

After completing the online application, the candidate must download the Application Form, fill it out, and submit it along with relevant documents and the application fee to the SEBA office in Guwahati by 15th December 2023.

Steps for Online Submission of Applications
- Prepare the Bank Draft before initiating the online application process. Refer to the advertisement for fee details.
- Scan a recent clear photograph with a light blue or beige background. Ensure the maximum size does not exceed 200 KB, and dimensions are 400px X 500px.
- Scan your full signature in blue or black ink on white paper. The maximum size should be 100 KB, and dimensions should be 400px X 200px.
- Start the application process only when your bank draft, scanned photograph, and signature are ready. The application must be completed in one session.
- Upon completion, an Application Receipt Number (ARN) will be generated. Keep this number secure as your application is not considered technically submitted until you receive the ARN. A re-print can be taken using the ARN.
- Take a print-out of the computer-generated Application and submit the hard copy along with the original Bank Draft and self-attested copies of relevant documents. Your online application will only be considered valid once this step is completed within the stipulated time.
