Stipend:
- Rural/ Semi-Urban: Rs 10,000 per month
- Urban: Rs 12,000 per month
- Metro: Rs 15,000 per month
The apprentices will be engaged for a contract period of one year, during which they will receive a monthly stipend based on their location.
Eligibility Criteria of Punjab National Bank Recruitment
Age Limit: To be eligible for the apprentice posts, candidates must be between 20 and 28 years old as of 30th June 2024. This means candidates should have been born between 30th June 1996 and 30th June 2004.
Age Relaxation: Age relaxation is available for candidates belonging to specific categories:
- Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe: 5 years
- Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- Persons With Disabilities: 10 years
Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a Graduate degree in any discipline from an Institute, College, or University recognized/approved by Government bodies, AICTE, or UGC. The result of the qualification must be declared on or before 30th June 2024, and candidates must produce their Mark Sheets and Provisional/Degree Certificates as required by the bank.
