NHPC Limited Recruitment Details

1. Trainee Engineer (Civil)

No of posts: 29 [SC:8, ST:1, OBC:6, EWS:2, UR:12]

Grade Pay Scale: (E2 )/ Rs. 50,000 – 3% -1,60,000 (IDA)

Educational Qualification: Full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology/ B.Sc. (Engineering) Degree in Civil Discipline from recognized Indian University/ Institute approved by AICTE with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade or AMIE (enrollment up to 31.05.2013) with minimum 60% marks or equivalent.

2. Trainee Engineer (Mechanical)

No of posts: 20 [SC:1, ST:1, OBC:4, EWS:2, UR:12]

Grade Pay Scale: (E2 )/ Rs. 50,000 – 3% -1,60,000 (IDA)

Educational Qualification: Full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology/ B.Sc (Engineering) Degree in Mechanical Discipline from recognized Indian University/ Institute approved by AICTE with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade or AMIE (enrollment up to 31.05.2013) with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade

Mechanical Discipline includes Mechanical/ Production/ Thermal/ Mechanical & Automation Engineering.

3. Trainee Engineer (Electrical)

No of posts: 4 [SC:3, ST:1]

Grade Pay Scale: (E2 )/ Rs. 50,000 – 3% -1,60,000 (IDA)

Educational Qualification: Full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology/ B.Sc (Engineering) Degree in Electrical Discipline from recognized Indian University/ Institute approved by AICTE with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade or AMIE (enrollment up to 31.05.2013) with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.

Electrical Discipline includes Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics /Power Systems & High Voltage/ Power Engineering.

4. Trainee Officer (Finance)

No of posts: 12 [ST:10, UR:2]

Grade Pay Scale: (E2 )/ Rs. 50,000 – 3% -1,60,000 (IDA)

Educational Qualification: CA from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India/ ICWA or CMA from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (formerly known as Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India). Passed Candidates are eligible to apply.

5. Trainee Officer (Company Secretary)

No of posts: 2 [UR:1, OBC:1]

Grade Pay Scale: (E2 )/ Rs. 50,000 – 3% -1,60,000 (IDA)

Educational Qualification: Candidates passed in Company Secretary qualification with Membership of Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) are eligible to apply.

Other Criteria of NHPC Limited Recruitment

Age Limit: Candidates maximum age 30 years as of 01.12.2021.

Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ ST, 3 years for OBC (Non-creamy layer), 10 years for PwBD – General/EWS, 13 years for PwBD– OBC, and 15 years for PwBD – SC/ST candidates.

GATE Score: Candidates shall be shortlisted out of the candidates registered with NHPC against  Advertisement No. NH/Rectt./04/2021 as per merit based on the GATE – 2021 score, CA/CMA score and CS score for Trainee Engineer (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical), Trainee Officer (Finance) and Trainee Officer (Company Secretary) respectively.
