Eligibility Criteria for IIT JAM 2025
To be eligible for the IIT JAM 2025, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification:
- Candidates should have completed an undergraduate degree or be in the final year of their undergraduate program.
- Those who have been promoted without a marksheet should provide a certificate from their institution detailing the subjects studied, signed by the Head of the Institute.
- Foreign nationals with Indian degrees are eligible to apply, subject to the policies of the admitting institutes.
- Physical Fitness:
- Upon admission, candidates will need to submit a Physical Fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner.
- A Physical Fitness test may also be required, conducted by a medical board from the admitting institute. Failure to meet fitness requirements could result in the cancellation of admission.

The exam pattern for IIT JAM 2025 is as follows:
