Eligibility Criteria of IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2024
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 20 years to 28 years as of 1st July 2024. They should be born between 2nd July 1996 and 1st July 2004 (both dates inclusive).
Age Relaxation:
- Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST): 5 years
- Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- Persons with Disabilities (PWD): 10 years
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate must possess a valid mark sheet/degree certificate indicating that they are a graduate on the day they register and must indicate the percentage of marks obtained in graduation while registering online.
Computer Literacy: Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory. Candidates should have a certificate/diploma/degree in computer operations/Language or should have studied Computer/Information Technology as one of the subjects in high school/college/institute.
Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT: Candidates should be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking the Official Language of the State/UT for which vacancies they wish to apply.

Selection Process of IBPS Clerk Recruitment
The selection process consists of two phases: the Preliminary Examination and the Main Examination. Both exams will be conducted online.
Preliminary Examination
Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing cut-off marks decided by IBPS. An adequate number of candidates in each category, as decided by IBPS, will be shortlisted for the Online Main Examination.
