Eligibility Criteria of CUET Exam
Age Limit: For appearing in the CUET (UG) – 2024, there is no age limit for the candidates.
Educational Qualification: The candidates who have passed the class 12 /equivalent examination or are appearing in 2024 irrespective of their age can appear in CUET (UG) – 2024 examination. However, the candidates will be required to fulfill the age criteria (if any) of the University / Institution / Organization in which they are desirous of taking admission.

For CUET (UG) – 2024, fees will be charged based on the number of subjects chosen by the candidates. The following fee structure is applicable for CUET (UG) – 2024 :

Application Process of CUET (UG) – 2024
The application process for CUET (UG) – 2024 is an online process, and interested candidates can follow the steps given below to apply:
- Go to the “Important Web-Links” section and click on the “Online Application Form” link.
- You will be directed to a new webpage where you will be asked to provide your personal and educational details.
- Please ensure that you fill out all the required information accurately.
- You will also need to upload a passport-sized photograph, signature, and any other necessary documents.
- The application fee must be paid according to your category.
- Once you have completed the form, click on the “submit” button.
- It is recommended that you take a printout of the submitted application form for future reference.

Scheme of CUET UG Examination
Name of exam: CUET (UG) – 2024
Total subjects: 61 (33 languages, 27 domain-specific, and 01 General Test)
Choice of Test Paper: Maximum 06 Test papers (04 or 05 domain subjects including General Test and 01 or 02 languages). Candidates may choose a maximum 06 Subjects including languages (Indian and Foreign) and General Test
Note: It is advisable for candidates to select at least one language.
Medium of the Test: 13 languages (Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu)
Total Questions: 40 out of 50 questions for all test papers and 50 out of 60 for the General Test (choice of 10 questions). Duration for all test papers would be 45 minutes except for Mathematics/Applied Mathematics, Accountancy, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Computer Science/Informatics Practices, and General Tests which would be 60 minutes.
