Citizenship and Residency:
- Applicants must be Indian Citizens as per Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
- Permanent residency in Assam is mandatory.
- The applicant needs to submit a PRC issued in Assam for educational purposes or an Employment Exchange Registration certificate as proof of residency when submitting the application form.
Employment Exchange Registration: Mandatory for all candidates in any of Assam’s employment exchanges.

Computer Skills:
b) Applicants should possess a solid understanding of office productivity software tools (regardless of the operating system used, such as MS Windows, Linux, Mac, etc.). These tools include:
i) Word processing software,
ii) Spreadsheet applications,
iii) Presentation graphics software,
iv) Database content management,
v) Internet navigation, and
vi) Email proficiency.
b) Candidates need to have a diploma or certificate in computer proficiency from a recognized institution by the Government of Assam, with at least 6 months of completed training (no gaps in qualification allowed). Additionally, they should have knowledge of computing in both Assamese and English languages.
