Eligibility Criteria of Indian Army Recruitment
1. Agniveer (General Duty)
Educational Qualification: Passed in class 10th examination with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject.
Age Limit: The age of the candidate should not be less than 17 years 6 months and not more than 21 years. Candidates born between 1st October 2003 to 1st April 2007 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.
2. Agniveer (Technical)
Educational Qualification: Passed in class 12th examination in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject.
Age Limit: The age of the candidate should not be less than 17 years 6 months and not more than 21 years. Candidates born between 1st October 2003 to 1st April 20076 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.
3. Agniveer Clerk/ Store Keeper (Technical)
Educational Qualification: Passed in class 12th examination in any stream with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject. English and Maths/ Accounts/ Book Keeping in Class XII is mandatory.
Age Limit: The age of the candidate should not be less than 17 years 6 months and not more than 21 years. Candidates born between 1st October 2003 to 1st April 2007 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.
4. Agniveer Tradesmen 10th Pass
Educational Qualification: Passed in class 10th examination with minimum 33% marks in each subject.
Age Limit: The age of the candidate should not be less than 17 years 6 months and not more than 21 years. Candidates born between 1st October 2003 to 1st April 2007 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.
5. Agniveer Tradesmen 8th Pass
Educational Qualification: Passed in class 8th examination with minimum 33% marks in each subject.
Age Limit: The age of the candidate should not be less than 17 years 6 months and not more than 21 years. Candidates born between 1st October 2003 to 1st April 2007 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.
Examination Fee
The Examination fee of Rs 250/- per applicant is to be paid by the candidate for the online examination. The candidate on successfully filling the application will be directed to SBI portal through a link on the website. At the SBI portal make payment of Rs 250/- plus Bank charges as applicable. The payment can be made through Bank Debit card, Internet Banking & UPI.
Pay Scale of Army Agniveer Vacancy
Agniveers will be given an attractive customised monthly package along with Risk and Hardship allowances as applicable in the three services. On completion of the engagement period of four years, Agniveers will be paid one time Seva Nidhi package.

Selection Process of Army Agniveer Vacancy
The recruitment process will consist of two phases. In Phase I, there will be an Online Common Entrance Exam held at Computer Based Test Centres across India. Then, in Phase II, the Recruitment Rally will be conducted by AROs at their respective Rally Venues.
Phase I (Online CEE)
Name of exam: Common Entrance Examination
Date of exam: 22nd April 2024 Onwards.
Mode of exam: Online Computer Based Test
Type of questions: Multiple Choice Question (MCQ)
No of questions: 50 questions or 100 questions (as per category of application)
Duration of exam: 60 minutes or 120 minutes (as per category of application)
Negative Marking: 25% of marks will be deducted for the wrong answer for each attempt.
Normalization: Marks scored by the candidates in Online CEE will be Normalized to take into account variation in difficulty levels of the question paper across different sessions.
Phase II (Recruitment Rally)
Candidates will be shortlisted based on the number of vacancies available by applying a cut-off in the written exam results. The Roll No of the candidates who meet the merit criteria will be announced on the Join Indian Army website. These candidates will then receive a second admit card for the remaining recruitment process, following the Rally Schedule of AROs.
Candidates will be tested as stated below during the Phase II.
